Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 2, which was the last film of the first quarter of 2018, also happens to be hitherto the widest release for a next-gen star of Bollywood. Producer Sajid Naidadwala, believing in the film and Tiger’s pull with the audience, went all out to give the film the broadest reach possible, and his faith paid off by leaps and bounds.
Sajid Nadiadwala's release strategy proves to be a hit with Baaghi 2 emerging to be this year's highest opener, collecting Rs. 25.10 crore nett on day one. The film now stands at over Rs, 150 crore nett and everybody associated with it couldn’t be happier. The phenomenal response and superlative trends has had Tiger Shroff emerging as the youngest Bollywood actor to clock the fastest century at the box-office. Sajid’s vision and Tiger’s appeal has had a major impact with the overseas audience, too, with the film having grossed Rs. 43.82 crore so far in international returns.
Baaghi 2 is still going as strong as ever, and Tiger has now cemented his position as the next big potential star of Bollywood.
