Bollywood belle Taapsee Pannu and Ali Fazal have wrapped up the shoot for their upcoming film in Goa, and are currently shhoting in Mumbai. During one of their scheduled shoots, they came across two junior artists who were watching the pirated versions of Great Grand Masti and Sultan on phone. Ali and Taapsee were quite taken aback when they learnt that the girls chose to watch the leaked versions, rather than going to the theatre.

They explained the girls that it is of a great ordeal to get a film released, and piracy puts all those efforts in vain. Despite all the efforts taken to fight piracy, there are still a lot of people who watch pirated films and it is a widespread problem. Ali and Taapsee even handed over an envelope of money to the girls, so that they could go to theatre and watch the film instead of watching the pirated version.

Taapsee said,”It was disheartening to see that a few people don’t value the efforts and pain taken to make a movie. I wish I could make them go through the process of making a film and the hardships we face to deliver the final product, for them to know how big a crime they r doing. It’s almost like stealing someone’s property illegally. I hope they don’t do this again.”
