After the exciting news of the long runtime and hassle-free censorship of Vijay’s hotly anticipated Pongal release, Bairavaa, was revealed, now comes what is probably the most-happening development of all. A synopsis of the film’s plot has been shared online by virtue of its overseas censorship.
Apparently, it’s a norm to apply for a censor certificate in every country that the film is being screened, and a note containing a synopsis of the film’s plot is attached to every certification as is standard procedure. Now, considering the wave of anticipation surrounding the film, some kind soul took it upon him/herself to share a couple of these notes online, which immediately went viral, and we’re ever so thankful to that person/persons for it. Why? Because the small glimmer of the plot that is revealed proves that Thalapathy has yet another Pongal smash on his hands. Check it out below:
Bairavaa (Vijay) and his friend, Shanmugam (Satish) are working in the bank at the loan department, and they’re very close to their bank manager (Y.G. Mahendra). Bairavaa and Satish are invited to the wedding of the bank manager’s daughter, and there the former meet Malarvizhi (Keerthy Suresh) and falls in love with her and even professes his feeling to her, but she declines him, citing a grave situation as the reason behind her refusal. The situation is so dire that she cannot even think of committing to anyone. Bairavaa then takes it upon himself to fight for Malarvizhi nad deliver her justice. His target an unscrupulous, corrupt man who has created a multi-million dollar business empire by duping aspiring , gullible medical students and their equally susceptible parents. How he brings this man to task and obtains justice for the love of his life forms the crux of Bairavaa’s story.
Judging by what has been revealed, Bairavaa already looks to be a super-exciting, massy film, with the potential for several mass scenes, hard-hitting punchlines, and adrenaline-pumping action sequences. Fingers crossed that the film lives up to expectations.
