The business of Tamil and Telugu films at the box-office has mushroomed since 2008-’09, with several films entering the 100-crore club. In fact, Baahubali 2 has completely changed the game for not only the South film industry but the entire country, leaving behind every single Bollywood movie, too, in its wake. However, for the amount of South films entering grossing over 100 crores, very few have succeeded in entering the selective 200-crore club. In fact, only a handful of films from Kollywood and Tollywood have hitherto managed to break the 200-crore barrier, which is starkly less as compared to their Bollywood counterparts.


Nevertheless, grossing 200 crores or more is always a big deal and needs to be duly applauded. In that spirit, we’ve decided to compile every Tamil and Telugu film that’s part of the 200-crore club at the box-office along with their total worldwide gross and verdicts. Check the list out below:
