After skyrocketing Tiger Shroff on the road to stardom, Sajid Nadiadwala is all set to launch another star kid, with Suniel Shetty’s son, Ahaan Shetty, set to make his big-screen Bollywood debut under the producer’s banner, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment (NGE). Reportedly, Ahaan will feature as the main lead in the remake of Telugu smash hit, RX 100, whose right Nadiadwala had purchased earlier this year after the film became one of Tollywood’s biggest sleeper success of 2018.
Sources claim that one of Bollywood’s most underrated Directors, Milan Luthria, who has previously helmed classics like Once Upon a Time in Mumbai, The Dirty Picture, Taxi No. 9211, and Kachche Dhaage, will helm the project, which was originally directed by Ajay Bhupathi. It remains to be seen if the original title is retained or if the makers for go for another one for the Hindi adaptation. The hunt is also on for a leading lady opposite Ahaan.
RX 100 revolves around a rural guy and urban-educated girl, who returns to her village and begins a steamy romance with said guy. However, the couple gets separated and the girl is married off to an NRI, leading the guy on a warpath across the village, only for a shocking twist to be revealed later. Karthikeya Gummakonda and Payal Rajput had starred in original Telugu version.
