Bollywood Box-Office

There’s no stopping Stree at the box-office as the horror-comedy continues to provide scares and laughs in equal measure to the audience. The Rajkummar Rao-Shraddha Kapoor starter has now crossed the century mark, hitting Rs. 101.43 crore nett on its sixteenth day in theaters, and in the bargain, has also been declared a blockbuster by the trade.

Week-Wise Nett Collection (INR)
Week One 60.39 crore
Week Two 35.14 crore
Week Three* 5.90 crore
Total 101.43 crore

(Week Three ongoing)

Stree has proved to be a lottery for its producers, distributors, exhibitors, and everyone else who has invested in the film, while also giving Shraddha a much-needed comeback to form at the box-office. It has also turned out to be a game-changer for Rajkummar’s credentials as a lead hero, with box-office glory for his solo-mainstream films hitherto eluding him despite having made a mark as an actor of great repute in both commercial and indie cinema.
