Simran Box-Office: Kangana Ranaut Starrer Witnesses Huge Jump On Day Two

Despite opening on a low-key note, Kangana Ranaut’s star-power has sufficed in infusing life into her latest release, Simran. The Hansal Mehta film grew by a fantastic 35.74% to collect Rs. 3.76 crore nett on day two and take its 2-day total to a pretty healthy Rs. 6.53 crore nett.

Day-Wisse Collection in Nett (INR) Growth
Day One (Friday) 2.77 crore
Day Two (Saturday) 3.76 crore 35.74%
Total 6.53 crore

The film now has a realistic chance of finishing its first weekend in double digits a possibility that seemed a distant dream prior to its release, which just goes to show how strong Kangana’s pull still is with the audience, particularly those in the metros. If the film manages another 35-40% jump on Sunday, and holds well over the weekdays, then it has every chance of posting a decent collection by the end of its lifetime run.
