Sanjay Dutt looks to be giving serious though about his career after his comeback film, Bhoomi, tanked at the box-office. After signing some exciting projects with reputed production houses and big-name Directors, like Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3, Kalank, Panipat, and Torbaaz, Sanju has added another interesting film to his kitty – the official remake of Telugu superhit Prasthanam.
The remake, which will only add an additional ‘a’ to its Hindi title (Prasthaanam), will be helmed by Deva Ketta, who also directed the original, and will revolve around a dysfunctional family set against the backdrop of a political thriller. Ali Fazal and Amyra Dastur have been roped in to costar with Dutt in the film.
Sanjay will also produce Prasthaanam, and has earmarked 1st June, his deceased mother, the legendary Nargis’ birthday, as the day the film will go on floors. We sure hope that the auspicious beginning proves to bring his next home production plenty of good fortune.
