Salman Khan acquitted by Rajasthan High court in the blackbuck poaching case


Salman Khan, the actor who somehow finds himself in the eye of the storm can breathe a sigh of relief for now.

The actor had been charged for poaching blackbucks and chinkara in two separate incidents in 1998. This happened while the actor was shooting for Sooraj Barjatyas Hum Sath Saath Hain.

The Rajasthan High Court in Jodhpur passed a judgement on the case today and acquitted Salman Khan of the blackbuck and chinkara poaching case. A lower court had previously sentenced the actor to one year’s jail term in the blackbuck case and five years imprisonmentv in the chinkara case.

On the professional front, Kabir Khan just announced that the shooting of his next film with Salman will commence on 28th July. On the other hand, Salman Khans Sutan has witnessed a phenomenal response at the Box office.
