After starring in several popular web series and getting noticed on the big screen earlier this year with Veere Di Wedding, Sumeet Vyas has bagged another exciting project, which should provide a further boost to his fledgling film career. The actor has been roped in as the villain of the Rajkummar Rao-Mouni Roy-Boman Irani starrer Made in China, though besides the fact that that he’ll be seen as the film’s antagonist, we know nothing else about his role yet.
As per recent reports, Sumeet has confirmed his participation as the film’s villain, revealing that he was looking forward for an opportunity to break free from his positive roles he’s hitherto played both in the digital world and on the big screen. So, when an opportunity to delve into a gray space came knocking by with Made in China, he jumped at the offer.
Made in China also recently roped in Amyra Dastur for a strong supporting role. The film is being being produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, and is being directed by Mikhil Musal, who has earlier helmed the National Award winning Gujarati film, Wrong Side Raju.
