Made in China, starring Rajkummar Rao, Mouni Roy, and Boman Irani, has been in the news ever since its announcement for its quirky plot – revolving around a small-time Indian entrepreneur who goes to China to make it big on his wife’s insistence – and the talented cast. Well, producer Dinesh Vijan has now roped in another talented name for the film in the form of the sizzling Amyra Dastur, who’s acting potential (displayed in the few films she’s done so far) is only rivaled by her effortless sensuality.
Though the details of her character are being kept under wraps, Amyra had this to say when asked about being a part of Made in China:
“I’m really excited to work with Maddock Films. Their scripts are content driven and manage to give out a social message in a quirky way. Getting a chance to work with Rajkummar Rao again and now Boman Irani is truly a privilege. They’re amazing actors and it’ll be interesting to learn more from them, especially in a comedic space. This is going to be a fun movie and an experience to be a part of.”
Made in China is being directed by Mikhil Musal, who has earlier helmed the National Award winning Gujarati film, Wrong Side Raju.
