One-of-our-most talented actresses of the current generation, Radhika Apte, is all set to follow in the footsteps of veterans like Amitabh Bachchan, Naseeruddin Shah, Amrish Puri, Om Puri, Anil Kapoor, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan by starring her first Hollywood project. The versatile performer has been roped in for a female-driven, World War 2 espionage thriller, where she’ll be starring alongside Stana Katic of TV show Castle fame and Sarah Megan Thomas, who has previously starred in films like Equity and Backwards.
Sarah Megan Thomas has also penned script of the untitled film, which is based on the lives of real-life spies who were part of then British Prime Minister Winston Churchill’s secret army. Lydia Dean Pilcher will produce the movie. Her erstwhile production credits include Queen of Katwe, The Lunchbox, The Namesake, and The Darjeeling Limited.
Radhika took to her Twitter account to announce her inclusion in the movie by sharing a story about it that appeared on Deadline:
