From a Bollywood star to being a Hollywood sensation, Priyanka Chopra has come a long way. The actress who has already produced a Marathi film ‘Ventilator’ which is doing extremely well and receiving great reviews. But now the actress is all set to try her luck in producing a Punjabi movie. The lady has come together with producer Vashu Bhagnani for her debut Punjabi Production, ‘Sarvann’. Priyanka’s production house Purple pebble pictures (PPP) announced their collaboration with Puja Entertainment, headed by Vashu Bhagnani.
Priyanka claims, “We are excited to collaborate with Vashuji on this film. We have had such an amazing response to our regional film ventures and we are now looking forward to our Punjabi debut". According to reports, ‘Sarvann’ which is going to be co-produced by Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra and Vashu Bhagnani, is a coming-of-age story of a boy who unknowingly discovers his true identity, directed by Karan Guliani, this movie stars Arminder Gill, Ranjit Bawa and Simi Chehail.
Bhagnani shares his excitement on this project, saying, “After so many years of being in the industry, we now got the opportunity to work together and are making our debut as producers in Punjabi films together”. And we totally agree with him because who wouldn’t love to work with the International star Priyanka Chopra.
The first schedule of Sarvann has been shot in Canada and the second one begins on 5th September.
