Fans of actor Akkineni Naga Chaitanya are in for disappointment as Premam, the much awaited Telugu remake of the eponymous Malayalam blockbuster has been postponed. Originally slated to release on September 9, it has now been pushed to October.
According to industry sources, the release has been postponed to make way for Naga Chaitanya’s Saahasam Swasaga Saagipo, helmed by Gautham Menon. Apparently, at the behest of GVM, the release of Premam was pushed by a month by Chaitanya himself, and this will allow the smooth run of his film with Gautham.
Meanwhile, the audio launch of Premam, which also stars Shruti Haasan, will happen in the third week of September to coincide with the birth anniversary of late legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao.
