The trailer of Director Shoojit Sircar's October, which released yesterday, has made an instant splash, with copious praise pouring in from all quarters for its profoundness, intensity, emotions, Varun Dhawan's unprecedented characterization, and debutant Banita Sandhu's girl-next-door appeal. The trailer has become the talk of the town and we, too, can't get it out of our head - such has been its deep impact. On that note, what better time could there be than right now to relive some of the trailer's finest moments that have left an indelible impression on our psyche.
1.) Varun’s Adorable Gestures
The trailer offers a glimpse into a completely different Varun Dhawan, and we are totally loving it.
2.) The Subtle Emotions
Emotions, when portrayed subtly, usually hit you the hardest, and October seems to have got that bit spot on.
3.) The Intense Bonding
Without it being a clear-cut love story, Dan and Shiuli’s journey, or at least whatever we get to see of it in the trailer, seems to be peppered with moments of intense bonding, and we can’t wait to see how the rest of their journey unfolds in the film.
4.) Banita Sandhu’s Girl-Next-Door Aura
AS much as we love watching the glamorous side of our heroines, debutant Banita’s everyday girl persona in the trailer is quite refreshing and sets the tone for a story imbues with realistic characters.
5.) An Honest Story of Love, Life, and Relationships
Too often, movies get these basic things wrong. Thankfully, October looks to be the exception.
October is directed by Shoojit Sircar and written by Juhi Chaturvedi, who had earlier collaborated with Sircar on both Vicky Donor and Piku. It's bankrolled by Rising Sun Films & Kino Works' Production, and is slated to release on 13th April 2018.
