Manmarziyaa declared a flop week one at the box-office

Bollywood Box-Office

The writing appeared to be on the wall for Manmarziyaa after it failed to show any growth on Sunday and dropped heavily on Monday, and it hasn’t taken long since for the worse to come to pass. The Abhishek Bachchan-Taapsee Panny-Vicky Kaushal starrer has been declared a flop by the trade after its first week at the box-office as with a collection of Rs. 21.40 crore nett the film has virtually no chance to go anywhere in week two, especially with the new releases eating into its space. Even the partial holiday yesterday for Moharram hardly gave it a boost.

Day-Wise Nett Collection (INR)
Day One (Friday) 3.52 crore
Day Two (Saturday) 5.11 crore
Day Three (Sunday) 5.70 crore
Day Four (Monday) 2.10 crore
Day Five (Tuesday) 1.80 crore
Day Six (Wednesday) 1.45 crore
Day Seven (Thursday) 1.72 crore
Total 21.40 crore

Even if Manmarziyaan manages a bit of growth over the second weekend, it’ll hardly be enough to sustain it to even break-even territory. Yet another flop for Director Anurag Kashyap at the box-office.
