A.R Murugadoss’s next bilingual film with superstar Mahesh Babu will be made on a lavish budget of Rs. 85 crore, making it the most expensive film in the filmmaker’s career. Since the film will be predominantly shot outdoors in locations such as Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad and Chennai, the makers are ought to spend so much.
While initial reports revealed that the film could be the sequel to Murugadoss’s blockbuster Thuppakki, the source has denied it. “It won’t be a sequel, but you could call it the next level of Thuppakki.
This will be the first time Mahesh and Murugadoss will be joining hands. While rumours have been rife that Keerthy Suresh is the heroine, the source has denied it, adding that the makers are yet to finalize the leading lady. The film will be launched on April 14 later this year.
