With Hrithik Roshan occupied with his upcoming projects, Super 30 and his action/dance film with Tiger Shroff, not much has been heard on the front of Krrish 4, which producer/Director and his father, Rakesh Roshan, had announced a while ago. Well, there’s finally some development on the Krrish franchise, and it’s well worth the wait.
Confirmation has arrived that Roshan Sr. has resolved to simultaneously shoot the fourth and fifth installments of the immensely successful Krrish franchise. His decision stems from the Baahubali franchise, wherein he wishes to emulate what S.S. Rajamouli had done by shooting a chunk of the second Baahubali film with that of the first, following which only a few vital scenes and the post-production work remained to be canned post the release of the first film.
Rakesh Roshan is said to be greatly inspired by the shooting and release strategies of the Baahubali franchise, and its unprecedented success at the box-office, desiring to replicate the same for the next two Krrish films. There’s also been word that Krrish 5 won’t be the last film of the franchise, as the series is very dear to both Hrithik and Rakesh Roshan, and one could expect a couple of more films before the duo calls it a day on one of Indian cinema’s biggest franchises.
