Here S What The Cast Of Tum Bin Is Doing These Days

Back in 2001, people were revelling in the superstardom of Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and a new sensation of that time, Hrithik Roshan.

Then came in a film which had beautiful soulful music and a completely unknown star cast. Tum Bin was written off by many as a musical which will be low on content and acting. However, the love drama surprised everyone by powerful storyline and became a sort of a cult romance flick.

But somehow, the actors who had given a memorable performance faded into oblivion pretty soon. As the legend of Tum Bin lives on, here’s a lowdown on what these stars are upto these days.

1) Sandali Sinha

The pretty actress had come from a TV background and Tum Bin marked her Bollywood debut. After Tum Bin she acted in films like Pinjar and Ab Tumhare Hawala Watan Saathiyon but didn’t exactly hit the bull’s-eye with those.

She married restaurateur, Kiran Salaskar in 2005 and has two children.

2) Raqesh Vashisht(aka Rakesh Bapat)

Amar Shah, the hero of the film, whose death adds all the twists and turns in the film, finally found his calling in television industry. He has acted in various TV soaps and few of those like Maryada :Lekin kab tak and Honge na Juda Hum were fairly popular. He is doing Marathi cinema too and was last seen in Marathi film, Sarv Mangal Savdhaan

 

3) Priyanshu Chaterjee

Priyanshu aka chocolate boy Shekhar Malhotra, was the one who tried to redeem himself by helping Amar’s family.

After Tum BIn, he acted in many Hindi and Bengali films.He was last seen in a cameo in Hate Story 3. Here is a still from his Bengali Film, Paanch Adhyay.

4) Himanshu Malik

The business tycoon Abhigyaan aka Himanshu Malik has undergone the most drastic makeover since 2001. He was seen in prominent films like LOC Kargil and Yamla Pagla Deewana.

However, it’s his look from his upcoming film, 7 hours to go, that has taken us by complete surprise.
