Harshvardhan Rane comes clean on the payment controversy surrounding his last release, J P Dutta ’s Paltan

Bollywood Interview

While reports have been floating around that the makers of J P Dutta’s Paltan have not yet cleared the dues of few actors who were part of the film, Harshvardhan Rane, (whose dumdaar performance as Major Harbhajan Singh was highly appreciated by the audience) surprisingly, didn’t face any monetary issues.

When we asked Harshvardhan, he explained, “Thankfully, I have never faced problems related to money, be it from a veteran producer-director like J P Sir or someone new because I have always believed in dealing with the producer or the production house on my own, as a mark of respect to them. The producers that I have worked with have been fair to me. That way, I am a producer’s actor too!”

“Secondly, the scenario of not too many people being involved in the monetary aspect avoids confusion and creates a healthy atmosphere of great clarity and transparency. As far as Paltan is concerned, I made sure my contract and payments were on time and they honoured it. Akshay Kumar sir is a great inspiration when it comes to having a great professional relationship with the producers,” he adds.
