Diljit’s Super Singh rules as Bank Chor sinks at the Box Office

Diljit Dosanjh’s star power in Punjabi cinema is unprecedented, and that reflects in the collections of his latest Punjabi release, Super Singh. Diljit plays the role of a superhero in the film, and his comic timing is being greatly appreciated. The film put up a total of 5.75 crores in the 1st weekend, setting it up for a good lifetime total. There was a drop in collections on Sunday, but that was expected becuase of the India - Pakistan match.


On the other hand, Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi starrer Bank Chor got a dismal opening at the BO, and failed to pick up over the weekend. After three days of release, the total collections stand at 4.34 crores, and the film is unlikely to cross 6 – 7 crores lifetime.
