Zoya Akhtar has made sure all of her characters in her recently released film ‘Gully Boy’ were bang on. Be it Siddhant Chaturvedi who played Mc Sher, Vijay Varma who played Moeen Bhai or Nakul Sahdev who played Salman’s character.
All the actor including Vijay Varma and Nakul Sahdev are been getting a lot of appreciation post the release for their performance. Both the actor’s didn’t rap in the movie but they surely did after the film release and posted it on their social media platform.
Vijay who did a small comic rap in the film has attempted rapping for the first time and posted it on his social media too. Nakul Sahadev who has played Salman’s character posted the video and wrote, “Gully Gully ki awaaz abh #GullyBeat pe. Moeen played by Vijay Varma, the character sees its ups and downs in life but his friendship with Murad is consistent and endearing.
They have a few fights and arguments on some issues but the jail scene makes up for all the mess that their friendship faces. Vijay Varma and Nakul Sahdev are receiving a lot of praise for their role because of the rawness they have managed to add to their character. The Zoya Akhtar directorial is indomitable a testimony of which is seen at the Box Office along with immense appreciation from Audiences and critics alike.
Gully Boy is a story inspired by slum rappers of Dharavi, Gully Boy has gone ahead to create immense buzz amongst the masses. The trailer, the music and now the early reviews post its screening at the Berlin Film Festival has created a lot of anticipation for this Zoya Akhtar’s film.

Starring Ranveer Singh as the street rapper, Gully Boy stars Alia Bhatt as his love interest bringing to the screen the fresh chemistry of the duo. The film also stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Kalki Koechlin in pivotal roles.
Directed by Zoya Akhtar, Gully Boy is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Entertainment in association with Tiger Baby and this film on the underground rap movement in India is slated to release on February 14.
