In the Industry, Eid is considered to be a one of the biggest Holiday weekends, as the footfall is quite high due to the festive mood, and the audience is in a mood to shell out money. Since 2009, Salman Khan has been dominating Eid, with 2103 and 2017 being the only exception. If we look at the last decade, most films which release during the festival did fabulously at the Box – Office, except 2008, when Sanjay Dutt starrer Kidnap, made the most money, but still wasn’t able to recover its cost.
