In spite of a record-breaking start for a non-Baahubali film as well as for Mahesh Babu. There was still some skepticism about Bharat Ane Nenu’s performance in the long run considering how its leading man’s two erstwhile releases, Brahmotsavam and SPYder fell away drastically after stellar starts. However, all those doubts can now be put to rest as the film has trended fantastically over its opening weekend to fall just shy of the 150-crore mark, and set a record for the highest worldwide grosser for a Telugu film outside the Baahubali franchise.
|Day-Wise||Worldwide Gross (INR)|
|Day One (Friday)||56.25 crore|
|Day Two (saturday)||44 crore|
|Day Three (Total)||20crore|
At the rate at which Bharat Ane Nenu is performing, and with no other Telugu biggies on the horizon, it wouldn’t be surprising if it becomes the first Tollywood release to pass the 200-crore mark worldwide by the end of its run. Superstar Mahesh Babu is back with a vengeance.
