No prizes for guessing that Baahubali: The Beginning has walked away with the most awards for the year, 2015. Legend not only won best film for 2014, but Nandamuri Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu also took home Nandis for best actor and Director for the same year. Meanwhile, it was heartening to see a small film like Pelli Choopulu get its due by winning best film for 2016. On the other hand, S.S. Rahamouli’s epic masterpiece almost made a clean sweep of all the Nandis for 2015, winning best film, best Director, best villain, and best supporting actress. However, it failed to bag the best actor trophy for Prabhas as Mahesh Babu claimed it for Srimanthudu, which had released in the same year. Anushka Shetty won best actress for the same year for her stellar act in Size Zero.
