Recently, Fatima Sana Shaikh has opened up with some really interesting insights on living the life of an actor which has been her best choice in life. As it has given her an opportunity of experimenting with various roles which makes her profession more interesting than doing other mundane jobs.
Talking about the same, Fatima says, “As an actor, the greatest gift you can get is a vast variety of roles to play. For people to believe in you, that you will be able to pull off characters which are totally different from each other, is an achievement in itself. So I was very lucky to get a role (in Dangal) which wasn’t mainstream and help me carve a niche for myself.”
The actress further says, “But I am glad I got such a strong beginning. It required both physical as well as character preparation. The same goes for my role in Thugs… Zafar was a very strong-headed character, who was also required to have a certain set of physical skills.”
Lately, Fatima has been beaming over her milestone of bagging an award for ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ at Jackie Chan International Action Movie Week which she truly deserved as she had got the audience spellbound for delivering a stellar performance as well as impactful dialogues by essaying the role of a female brave warrior.
Having wrapped a schedule of Anurag Basu’s next in Bhopal, Fatima Sana Shaikh has been extremely excited to mark her first collaboration with Anurag Basu and Rajkummar Rao. She will next star alongside Saif Ali Khan and Ali Fazal in horror-comedy Bhoot Police.
