MakeMyTrip is trying to target the younger generation; and to help the brand connect with that segment, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt have been signed on as the new ambassadors.
In an interview to a leading daily, the CMO of MakeMyTrip, Saujanya Shrivastava said, “Like the brand, both Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt represent the new age of Indians – confident, bold, and unafraid to try new things. In their cinematic journey too they like to experiment, have fun in whatever they do and give everything its maximum due. Like true travellers who push forth on their travel ambitions, their persona is incredibly aspirational. It’s a great fit with the brand, which we hope can inspire more of India to travel.”
The duo will be seen in a high decibel campaign by MakeMyTrip that will try to get maximum visibility and be aggressively marketed through digital and on the ground marketing activities.
