With new year around the corner, any movie-buff worth his salt would be making a list of the films he or she would be watching next year. And when youre compiling a list of forthcoming movies that have caught your fancy, how could Ajay Devgns films not feature on it? After the middling performance of Shivaay in 2016, the actor is set to soar right back with not one, not two but three films that are not only different to each other, but also offer something unique for every section of the audience.
With a cast that boasts the likes of Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ileana DCruz, Vidyut Jammwal, and Esha Gupta, and a Director (Milan Luthria) that has classics like Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai and The Dirty Picture to his credit; Baadhshaho looks like a sure-shot recipe for success. Add the plotline, which is based on actual events involving stolen gold during the Emergency, and we are already hooked for this film, and so should you be.
The superhit actor-Director combo of Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn return for the fourth installment of the Golmaal series a franchise that keeps getting bigger and rakes in more moolah with each passing film. Given their enviable track record whenever they have collaborated with each other, and with Parineeti Chopra on board this time, we see no reason why Golmaal Again doesnt turn out to a another rousing success for the Shetty-Devgn jodi.
Sons of Sardaar
Another film inspired by actual events; Sons of Sardaar will see Devgn once again don the Directors mantle for a project very close to his heart. The film is being touted as a tribute to the valor of the 21 Sikhs of the British Indian Army, who had fought to death against 10,000 marauding Afghan tribesmen, in the 1897 Battle of Saragarhi, which has gone down in history as one of the greatest last-stands. That premise alone is enough to draw anyone to the theater.

Taanaji Malsure was one of the bravest Maratha warriors, and Ajay Devgn is all set to portray him in an epic film, titled Taanaji. The film will be directed by Om Raut, and will be produced by Devgn himself and is scheduled to release in 2019.
A Rajkumar Gupta directorial Raid is set in Uttar Pradesh and will star Ajay Devgn in the role of an Income Tax Officer. The film is based on real life events involving one of the most high profile income tax raids the country has ever seen. Raid is scheduled to release on 20th April, 2018.

Ajay Devgn will also be seen in an urban rom- com which will be produced by Luv Ranjan of Pyaar Ka Punchnama fame. Ajays first look from the film was released a while ago, and it was rather different from other ventures by the actor.
It looks like Ajay Devgn is all set to come back in form over the coming months.
