Neeraj Pandey’s next directorial venture, Aiyaary, starring Sidharth Malotra and Manoj Bajpayee, has been wrapped up. The last shooting schedule, which was underway in Cairo, Egypt, has been concluded, and the film is now entering the post-production stage. However, there’s been a change in its release date. The film, which was expected to release during the Republic Day weekend, will now hit screens on 9th February 2017.
If Aiyaary had released on its earlier planned date, it would have clashed with 2.O, which could have been detrimental to its box-office chances, as the latter is a much-bigger film. The new release date now gives the movie a good 2-week period for the 2.O euphoria to settle down before it can hit screens.
