90s star joins the cast of Housefull 4

After a long hiatus, one of Bollywood’s most-underrated actors looks to be back in the thick of things like never before. From gearing up for the release of the third installment of his comedy franchise with his superstar brother and megastar father to joining the huge ensemble lineup for the third part of a hit action-thriller franchise, this cool star of the late 90s and early 2000s appears to be well and truly back.

In case you still haven’t guessed whom we’re referring to, then let’s not keep you in suspense any more. We’re talking about none other than Bobby Deol, who gave iconic hits like Soldier, Gupt, Ajnabee, only to disappear from the scene between 2013 and 2017 for personal reasons. But he now seems to be getting his career back on track with two eagerly awaited releases in Yamla Pagla Deewana 3 and Race 3. And that’s not all. Bobby has now also been signed by ace producer, Sajid Nadiadwala, for his 2019 Diwali release, Housefull 4.

The film revolves around the theme of reincarnation and we can't wait to see what Bobby adds to this laugh riot. After the success of the first three Houseful films, the makers are keen to take the fourth installment to the next level, and believe that Bobby's a perfect fit for their plans and the movie's plot.

Confirming the news from Abu Dhabi, where he's currently shooting for Race 3, Bobby said, “I’m really looking forward to collaborating with both the Sajids (Sajid Khan also returns as Director for the fourth part). I’ve always wanted to work with Sajid Nadiadwala and finally it’s happening. Akshay and I share a great rapport and it'll be fun working with him again. Housefull 4 is a big franchise and I can’t wait for the film to start.”

While Sajid Nadiadwala's first film as producer was with Dharmendra and he has also worked with Sunny Deol before, this'll be for the first time that he collaborates with Bobby on a project. Housefull 4 also stars Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, John Abraham, and Abhishek Bachchan.
